Very true. (Well, most of it.)

"You have gray eyes because you are a good person."

The colour-coding of eyes is not inconsistent with other books I read once-upon-a-time. Eye-colour as a cue to character. Brown eyes are always warm, black eyes snap, and grey eyes are honest. Very odd—though much appreciated, speaking as someone with grey eyes.

Actually, I think the real Alexander's eyes weren't blue but were brown (Plutarch says melting) and looked like Richard Hammond's (from Top Gear) about 15 years ago.
